Now in our 4th year, Write On! Summer Camp is the ideal experience for nurturing and encouraging young writers.
Each day starts with fun, small group writing instruction where you will discover how to keep a writer’s notebook, write “small”, build up a “hot spot,” and breathe life and excitement into your writing. 

Design your daily writing experience by choosing to attend the writing clubs that are most interesting to you!  Would you like to write a mystery story?  Create an ABC book?  Try your hand at comic strip writing?  Learn about publishing opportunities?  Work at adding meaningful dialogue to your story?  Challenge your friends to a game of Scrabble?  You might crave some time to write poetry.  Or maybe you’d like some one-on-one help with a story you’ve been working on all year!  Each day, you’ll have a chance to choose two clubs best suited for you. 

What’s more, our week will include visits from professional writers, unique personal publications, and our traditional “author’s toasting” celebration.
