INTERNS
Each summer, Write On! connects with talented high school and college writers. These writers
spend the week interning as teachers and tutors at Write On! Summer camp. In addition to the
valuable experience of sharing their insights and own love of writing, interns have the chance to
meet professional authors and explore possible career paths. Interns from past years have ranged
from International Baccalaureate candidates, to college teaching majors, to pre-medical students,
to soon to be professional authors. Our interns become easily the “stars” of Write On! Camp as
students flock to them for writing advice to share a story from yesterday, or even just a high five.
It's a unique and valuable experience for both the intern and young writer.
